The Green Building Council in Croatia, in cooperation with other European Councils, is launching the: To facilitate the training and profiling of a generation of internationally recognized experts in Croatia, in order to implement changes to planning and building methods in construction projects in Croatian and their use.
"Green Building Professional" is a one-year training program aimed at professionals from various relevant disciplines, including: architecture, mechanical engineering, economics, finances, law and civil engineering, as well as: the owners of buildings, business entities, investors, financial institutions, construction companies, suppliers of products and services in construction, scientists and students - all those who aim to become aligned with the latest trends in green building and the use and maintenance of space, in order to make savings.

5th July at the Regent Esplanade in Zagreb, Mr. Ivo Josipovic, the Croatian President, inaugurated a series of meetings titled "Building Better Brunch" and gave his presentation regarding green building and sustainable development in Croatia. Gatherings like "Building Better Brunch" aim to bring together people of different backgrounds who are interested in green building, sustainable development and corporate social responsibility in Croatia in order to put forward one place, and exchanged views on improving the overall aspects of the Croatian market through socially and environmentally conscious business and activities and green building in general. With President Josipovic, speakers at the event were Vedrana Likan, president of the Green Building Council, and Vice-president, H. Kvasnička.
