CB Richard Ellis d.o.o., an affiliate of the CB Richard Ellis Group, Inc. (NYSE:CBG), a Fortune 500 and S&P 500 company headquartered in Los Angeles, opened its offices in Croatia in 2005. Since then the Croatian team have carried out hundreds of assignments in all sectors including office, retail, industrial, residential and hotel.

Services offered include agency, valuation and advisory work carried out on behalf of occupiers, investors and developers. In 2007 Euromoney awarded CB Richard Ellis Croatia the number 1 adviser in valuation, research and consultancy. In 2009 CB Richard Ellis became a co-founder of the Green Building Council in Croatia.

At the end of 2009 CB Richard Ellis announced that 400 of its client services professionals have received the LEED® AP (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional) designation through the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI). These CBRE professionals received the LEED® AP credential, which signifies an advanced depth of knowledge in green building practices, and work in every major market across the globe.

In addition to the LEED® program thousands of CBRE professionals have participated in advanced sustainability and energy practice training in the commercial real estate service industry's most robust company-wide educational program. Approximately 2000 CBRE professionals completed the Building Owners and Managers Association's (BOMA) Building Energy Efficiency Program (BEEP), that teaches commercial real estate professionals how to reduce energy consumption. More than 100 CBRE employees have been designated as Green Knights, a CBRE Asset Services program that helps clients strategically transform their facility operations via sustainable practices, products and behaviors. These programs underscore CBRE's environmental commitment, announced in May 2007, to assist clients with energy efficiency programs in the more than 2.0 billion square feet of properties it manages around the world. CBRE was recently ranked among Newsweek's top 50 greenest companies in America. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has named CBRE an ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year for the past two years, the only commercial real estate services firm so recognized with that award. The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) has awarded CB Richard Ellis its Leadership Award for Organizational Excellence.
