CEMEX Croatia is the leading producer of building material in the markets of Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro with a tradition of more than 100 years and increasingly stronger presence in the market. CEMEX owns three cement plants and 13 terminals. The company extracts raw materials from quarries, while it delivers concrete from eight strategically distributed concrete plants.

As one of the biggest Croatian plants and an important employer, CEMEX is a responsible social partner, whose operations are based on the principles of sustainable development and respect of the highest ethical principles. This implies responsible management of environmental protection, health and safety of employees, as well as responsible relation to the social community.

In the past few years, CEMEX invested more than HRK 300 million in various projects of environmental protection and improvement of air quality. In order to make its plants as comfortable place of work as possible, CEMEX landscaped more than 80,000 m² of green are in the plants, while it carried out biological recultivation of exploited fields in an area of almost 200,000 m².
